Camps:

 

Our camps are supervised by only experienced and accomplished riding instructors/vaulters at all times.  In case you child wants to do the sleep over with our horses on Thursday night, the child will stay all day Thursday and leave on Friday after the show.

 

 

Horseback Riding Camp

 

· Monday through Friday 9 AM - 1 PM, for $340 including the sleep over night with horses. 

· Dates:

· July 5 – 9, 2010

· July 19 - 23, 2010

 

Vaulting Camp

 

· Monday through Friday 9 AM - 1 PM, for $190.  The sleep over night with horses is for additional $50. 

· Dates:

· July 12 – 16, 2010

· July 25 - 30, 2010

 

Camp Explorer

 

· Camp is at the Browns County State Partk, at Midwest Trail Park,  Bring your own tent and trail ride the whole day.

· Camp includes swimming with horses. 

· Only for current students and those who pass our test.  There is no age limit.

· Price is $495 for current students and $695 for everyone else. 

· Children need to bring their own tent, sleeping bags and mattresses. 

· Monday 2 PM - Thursday 2 PM, for $190.  The sleep over night with horses is for additional $50. 

· Dates (subject to change due to weather, since we must have dry conditions to have safe trip inside the State Park)

· August 2 – 5, 2010

 

 

What to Expect:

 

Vaulting Camp Beginner:

 

· Ages 5 & up

· No previous horse knowledge required

· Learn to vault on and off the hosrse

· Dance

· Gymnastic moves

· Cardio fitness

· Teamwork

· Fun, fun, fun

 

Advanced Vaulting Camp:

 

· Same as above

· Learning the moves on trotting/cantering horse

· Free style

 

Beginner Horseback Riding Camp:

 

· Feeding

· Grooming

· Horse knowledge

· Tacking up

· Riding

· Games on and off the horse

· One night sleep over with the horses in the barn

 

Advance Rider:

 

· Same as the beginner horseback riding camp

· Orientation ride

· Jumping

· Dressage

 

Vaulting Camp:

 

· Horseback riding and vaulting combined in one camp

 

 

Please Note: All camps have a annual sign up fee of $75 for our club which includes membership in American Vaulting Association, quarterly magazines, and a T-shirt.  This is non-refundable and is due at registration.  If you sign up by April 28 and pay by May 1, you will save $10.
